How to Find Your Nearest Aadhaar Card Centre Online to Apply for Aadhar Card

As per the Government of India Aadhaar card is the most important personal identity document and now it is even made mandatory to apply for a lot of services and jobs. Currently there are many services which are accessed with the help of Aadhaar card because the Indian government has made an announcement that in case you want to file Income Tax Returns you won’t be able to do so without a PAN and an Aadhaar Card. Besides even for services such as LPG connection, and services related to EPF etc. also Aadhaar card is made compulsory. In such a scenario, it becomes very important to have an Aadhaar card and be listed in the UID database. You will be redirected the page link – https://appointments.uidai.gov.in/centersearch.aspx where these three options would be displayed with radio buttons.

In order to locate the enrollment center by state follow the mentioned below steps:

  • From the dropdown menu select and enter the State and then District, sub district and VTC or Village Town City.
  • There is a small check box that you will see underneath in Green Font which says “Only Permanent Centers”. Check it in case you want only the permanent centers.
  • After entering all the details, enter the Verification/Captcha code.
  • Click search which will display the Registrar name, Agency name, Center summary or address, name of contact person, last update date, center type and locate center. When you click on the PIN you will be then redirected to the Map where you can locate the center.

In order to locate the enrollment center by Pin Code follow the mentioned below steps:

  • Enter the Pin code
  • There is a small check box that you will see underneath in Green Font which says “Only Permanent Centers”. Check it in case you want only the permanent centers.
  • And then the verification code
  • Click search which will display the Registrar name, Agency name, Center summary or address, name of contact person, last update date, center type and locate center. When you click on the PIN you will be then redirected to the Map where you can locate the center.

If you are not aware of the address or pin code, you can still search for nearby Aadhaar enrolment centers with the help of search box.

  • You can enter name of the locality or the city in the search box.
  • There is a small check box that you will see underneath in Green Font which says “Only Permanent Centers”. Check it in case you want only the permanent centers.
  • And then the verification code
  • Click search which will display the Registrar name, Agency name, Center summary or address, name of contact person, last update date, center type and locate center. When you click on the PIN you will be then redirected to the Map where you can locate the center.

The applicable results will be then displayed along with the map on the screen.

Please note –

  • The applicants can submit the form along with the required documents like proof of address and identity.
  • After the documents get accepted, you can then submit the biometric data which are your iris scan and your fingerprints.
  • A photograph is also taken for the creation of Aadhaar.
  • You can then collect the acknowledgment slip which contains your 14-digit enrolment number which can be used to track the Aadhaar card status and it should be safely kept till the Aadhaar card is not received.
